My Dad(Bill) and his wife (Candace) were evicted from their long term Bungalow rental in Seal Beach, California  after living there for 8 years.
After Dad had a life~saving surgery, Candace became his full time caregiver.
Unfortunately this took away her ability to work as a local Realtor. Going through their savings, they simply could not pay their rent, and were evicted after missing just one payment.
Moving up to Northern California to live with family, they were subjected to an alcoholic and abusive situation, eventually being left to live in their car last week.
Candace and Dad would like to return as soon as possible to the Long Beach area where she has a job at a local Real Estate company, and they have a support system in place.
They need a studio apartment/funds (1200. per month + deposit of 2000.) to get back on their feet, allowing Candace to return to work. Dad will need some assistance  at home ([email redacted]=200. per week), while Candace is at work.
Both  Dad and Candace have always been very proud of working hard and being self sufficient.
This has been a traumatic and extremely difficult event in their lives. I wanted to help them get back to a place where they can live on their own, in an affordable apartment. To a place where they have been successful and can be again, given a little help.
