Homeless Outreach Fundraiser

I am writing from the Homeless Outreach Society from the University of Leicester and we are looking for some donations to help us provide sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, hats for example for the homeless community in Leicester. 

As winter is vastly approaching, temperatures are dropping below freezing and this is hard especially for the homeless. By providing essentials like blankets, by providing warmth it will help the homeless combat these freezing temperatures. 

In terms of morals, it gives something back to the community and our aim is to try help homeless people as much as we can, as we do on our outreaches where we provide food which is donated by firms such as Pret a Manger.

We will not see any of these funds, and 100% will be donated to the homeless. We aim to use these funds in two seperate outreaches; one in December and one in January where we aim to deliver these goods on both occasions.

The money donated will help us out so much so we hope anyone can see the benefit in this and try help the homeless especially when Christmas is coming up so they do not feel alone.
