Homeless Black Trans Woman Needs Help

** Cashapp: $kariakiss ** (note: Kariah's phone was stolen, so Jessica is taking donations for her while we get her a new phone) I want to tell you about Kariah: she's caring, funny, and warm. Kariah recently had to move back to Chicago to escape an abusive partner. Since then, she's been kicked out of multiple homeless shelters in the area due to presenting as a trans woman. At her most recent shelter, she got spit on for being trans and showed the staff, who did nothing. Then they put her out due to when she had to defend herself from that same person. This caused her to lose her job as a personal assistant (?). Now the only option she has left is sleeping behind a train station. Any funds raised will go to room and board, and go directly to Kariah's bank account. She's currently on the wait list to receive housing, and this will help keep her off the streets until she gets placed. Kariah's been going through it. Her grandmother died two weeks ago from COVID-19 and she's been dealing with stalkers. This assistance would mean so much to her and could genuinely change her life.
