Homeless Beachcomber Deliveryman Rob's Van Crisis

Donation protected
Long Beach's crucial source of independent news, the Beachcomber, has reached out to the community with the following request:

"One of our Beachcomber bulk delivery persons found out that his van needs extensive work that he cannot afford. Rob is homeless and sleeps in the van as well. If you know of a potential free or low-cost replacement vehicle, please call me at (562) [phone redacted]. Thanks."

We are setting up this GoFundMe to support Rob, whose the greatest example of a homeless person not only trying to lift himself back up out of poverty but also serving the community while doing so. Let's help him get some funds for a very cheap old van so that he can replace the one that he both lives in and needs to distribute this last, essential vestige of truly independent journalism in Long Beach, CA.

All funds will go directly to Roberto “Rob” Vazquez, homeless Beachcomber deliveryman.
