Homeless Bags for Flagstaff

Hello, my name is Ruth! I am a student at NAU and a social work major! For one of my classes this semester I was tasked with creating a project that would impact my local community. I have a huge heart for the homeless, especially people experiencing homelessness here in Flagstaff. We are still getting snow weekly and I want to give six people a backpack full of some helpful items that may make this season more livable. I want these bags to be full of long-lasting items such as a stainless steel water bottle, a full first aid kit, socks, hand warmers, and all these in a backpack that will last them quite a few years. Each of these backpacks will hold a little more than $100 of gear and food. I pray that the Lord leads me to the right people to give these to and that I will be able to impact Flagstaff and the Kingdom of the Lord.
