My name is Raheim Robinson — I’m a Harlem-born wellness leader, writer, director and mindful athlete.

I’m raising funds to bring my deeply personal short film, Home, to life.

Home is a poetic visual story about a black father and his daughter on a simple camping trip — but underneath the surface, he’s shielding her from the painful truth. It's a narrative about love, dignity, and the invisible weight many carry while trying to provide a better future for their children.

This film matters now more than ever. It speaks to the housing crisis, the strength of Black fatherhood, and the healing power of nature and music. I’m funding this story because I’ve lived pieces of it — and I want others who have ever struggled to know they’re seen.

I’m currently self-funding the trailer and campaign materials to raise additional production funds through grants and partnerships. But independent filmmaking is expensive. Your contribution will go directly toward production costs, paying cast and crew fairly, and ensuring we make something beautiful that resonates long after the credits roll.
