Hi, my name is Shauna, and I run Homebound Paws, a small, award-nominated pet care business on Bribie Island, QLD. Since March 2023, I’ve cared for over 200 dogs, offering daycare, walks, and adventure days — giving them love and care when their families can’t be there.

Our yard is the heart of Homebound Paws, where dogs run, play, and socialise. But after years of heavy use, it’s overrun with weeds, uneven ground, and unsafe patches. To keep it safe, fun, and comfortable for the dogs, it urgently needs a major makeover.

We’re fundraising to cover:

Weed removal to make the space safe and paw-friendly

Fresh soil and quality turf or astroturf for a durable, soft play surface

(If we can stretch the budget!) A concrete slab and shed for storage and all-weather shelter

As a one-woman business, the cost of these upgrades is more than I can manage alone. Every donation, big or small, will directly help create a secure, comfortable, and enriching space for the dogs who bring so much joy to our community.
