My home, a mobile home, is coming apart at the marriage line of the two units. It is causing the house to lean and has weakened the support system underneath the home. It has also affected the roof, which is leaking very seriously. It is causing the support beams under the home to bend because of the stress this has put on the home. The home is a 1972 model and very nice on the inside. The entire house needs to be rewired for electricity as some outlets have started sparking and need to be replaced immediately. There are several appliances that I cannot use due to this situation.
I had a successful care giving business , however several of my patients passed away, went to live with family or in a care facilityand my income droped significantly. I am almost 73 years old and now rely only on my social security for income. I had purchased a car a year ago, but this spring I had to return it as I could not make the payments. Now I must rely on family and friends for rides. I had a 401K as well as other monies, but they are all gone now due to the cost of living, home and car repairs, etc.
I also am not well as I have cardiac problems, rheumatiod and osteo arthritis, severe sleep apnia as well as other illnesses. I need to have three surgeries, the first of which I had about 6 weeks ago. I will have the second one the middle of October, and the last one after the first of the year.
I desparately need any help I can get so I may have these repairs done immediately. They are very expensive and I have no credit cards and cannot get a loan. I can no longer work and winter is coming with the rains. The roof needs to be repaired and the rest of the house repaired so it is safe and livable. I have no extra monies and rely only on my social security. Please help if you are able and I promise to pay it forward as soon as I can. I cannot begin to tell you how very, very grateful I am for any help you can give me. I have never done anything like this, and believe me it is very hard to ask for help.
