Home Lost to Wildfire: Gina & Dan Recovery

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 my dear friends Gina Hill, Dan Cook, and their son fled the Almeda Fire in Phoenix, Oregon with their lives and the clothes on their backs. Their home is a total loss, Dan's car is a total loss, they lost their beloved pets, and are working on figuring out how to pick up the pieces with their son. This is a scary and unsure time for them, and financial concerns are the last thing they need to be concerned about.
Gina and Dan are needing immediate assistance to get essential items, housing, literally everything. At this time the family is most in need of financial assistance, as they do not have anywhere to put or keep extra donations or items. This will be a long recovery, and the immediate concerns are getting stable in a suitable place to live for the family, and getting essential supplies for their daily living needs.

UPDATE 9/12/2020: Gina and Dan have been working through assistance available and finding out what they are needing for the future. Unfortunately, Gina and Dan didn't have insurance and their home is a total loss with nothing coming in to help them get into a new home. Because of this, and the small amounts of assistance that are available to them, the amount requested has been increased, as they will be starting from complete scratch financially. Thank you for your help, the family appreciates all the love.

I am in Medford, OR working here with the family to get assistance and aid set up, and help the family through this difficult time.
