Home Lost Due to Hurricane Harvey

My sister, Angela, and her partner, Joel, made the difficult decision to evacuate their home in Aransas Pass, TX on Thursday night in preparation for Hurricane Harvey. We are incredibly thankful that they opted to leave, as the storm intensified prior to making landfall in their area, placing them in the "eye" of the storm. Harvey has entirely devastated their community, ripping through their neighborhood, and completely destroying their home and all of their possessions.





As evinced in the pictures, the structure they once called home has been completely demolished by the storm. They are truly without shelter or the basic necessities to carry them through the next few months. Their home, furniture, clothing, and Angela's vehicle (which was left during evacuation) are in total disrepair.

In the wake of such catastrophe, we implore you to donate whatever you can to aid them in finding housing and purchasing necessities, while they attempt to overcome such a traumatic experience. Your kindness, support, and generosity will go a long way in helping them recover and offering those who love them, here in Virginia, peace of mind.
