Home Disaster Relief for John & Jennifer Byrd

Hi all, my name is Kaitie, I am the daughter/step-daughter to Jennifer and John Byrd. I am fundraising for John and Jen to help with unexpected costs, groceries, meals, gas, and temporary lodging for the next several days.

In the early hours of July 11th, a car came crashing into my parents' home. The car was traveling at a very high rate of speed and drove off the road, through the front yard, through the front door, the dining room, the living room, the back sun room, and came out the back of the house. The main bathroom was also destroyed. The house is completely unliveable at the moment and unstable. I am currently housing their dog Bo, but my mom's beloved cat, Deacon, was killed.

John and Jen are staying at an extended stay hotel in San Angelo for the next week that the Red Cross has generously helped with, but it may be several weeks until they can return home.

Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will go directly to John and Jen to support them during this challenging and unforeseen event.
