The Homa family would like to thank you for coming to this page and offering your thoughts, prayers, and support. Since you have come to this page, you likely know that Bill experienced an extensive hospital stay after suffering a second stroke in December. This stroke was accompanied by numerous complications to his health that simply made it difficult for him to survive. But Terri, his wife of 15 years, said that he fought heroically and that the nurses and medical professionals loved him as a patient, as he was always smiling and never complained.
Bill died on March 5th at the age of 54. Terri and their 3 daughters--Kathryn (13), Mary (10), Madelyn (8)--now live with their memories of him and the hope and assurance of their faith that they will be reunited with him one day.
As a neighbor and friend, I offered to set up this GoFundMe page so that friends, family, neighbors & acquaintences, and co-workers could offer a tangible way to help Terri and the girls in their time of transition and physical & emotional need. The money collected will help to defray Bill's medical and funeral costs and perhaps extend to the girls' college 529 savings plans.
Terri is also deeply appreciative of the support of so many who have brought meals, walked the dog, and helped with transportation & the kids' schedules as she tried to balance Bill's needs to those of the rest of the family. These gifts of time are priceless to her and she wanted them to be recognized. Thank you!
