The Newman Singers have been inspiring audiences for more than thirty years with their original inspirational music.
With songs such as "On That Holy Mountain", they have touched the hearts and lives of thousands as they lift their voices in praise of God.
It has now been many years since they have released a collection of new music. Much of their new music, which includes hundreds of new pieces, is nearly complete. All they lack is a studio in which to complete it.
Thus we are creating On That Holy Mountain studios. The goal is to create a small recording facility in the heart of the midwest to benefit musicians and artists who need an affordable studio in which to realize their dreams.
The first artists to benefit from On That Holy Mountain Studios will be the Newman Singers past and present. Over those years, these groups have recorded a great deal of inspirational music. While we have released some of this material, toured the country and shared our work with many, we have a large body of work — more than twenty hours of music — that has been recorded but not finished. We have many friends and supporters who are eagerly awaiting the chance to hear this music. In addition, this work represents the efforts of hundreds of musicians who invested their hearts and voices and deserve to hear the fruits of their labor.
This music, the first to be completed at On That Holy Mountain Studios, will benefit those who have contributed their talents over the years — they will finally have the opportunity to hear their work— as well as all those who appreciate the beauty of music.
The funds raised by this campaign will be used first to complete this small studio and complete an initial offering of original inspirational music.
Your support will bring to life the music of many years, hundreds of singers and musicians and give us the chance to share this creativity with thousands of supporters who have waited to hear these songs.
The true benefit of On That Holy Mountain Studios will be to share this music with those who have contributed over the years and to those who are waiting to hear their efforts.
