Holme Village Community Centre

The village of Holme is located in the Holme Valley in West Yorkshire and is within the boundary of the Peak District National Park. We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery making it a haven for hikers, dog walkers and cyclists.  It is also home to an active community of artists and writers. We truly believe it’s the best place to live.

We are a very community minded village but lack a central hub. So we are raising funds to restore a historic building within the village to create a much needed community centre.  The building has fallen into a state of disrepair  and the total estimated cost of the renovation is around £235,000.

Our overall vision, is to create a Community Centre that serves the various needs of all age groups in the village,  prioritising health and wellbeing,  arts and recreation, and a breakfast and after school club for our local school.
