Hollys Tandem Skydive

August 2016 a picture here of me, my daughter and my dad on holiday. Who would believe that approximately 8 weeks later my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal lung cancer and given approximately 12months to live.
It is now february 2018 and my dad is still here with us, and fighting this awful disease.
He would not still  be here fighting this disease if it was not primarily for The Sarah Cannon Institute Uk, who are treating him with a combination of drugs known as Immunotherapy. To recieve this treatment he has to travel to The Sarah Cannon Institute of clinical research in Harley Street London, every 3 weeks.
None of this treatment would have been available had it not been for the intervention of the charity known as Team Verrico in Scunthorpe who enabled my dad to get a second opinion in Harley Street and subsequently he was accepted onto a brand new clinical trial at The Sarah Cannon Institute.
I am not working directly with any charities but my aim is to raise a minimum of £1000 to be donated to The Sarah Cannon Foundation and Team Verrico, so that the Sarah Cannon Foundation can continue to strive towards a cure for not only what my dad has but other cancers too, and for Team Verrico to continue doing what they do to help people find second opinions.
I am going to be doing a Tandem Skydive on the 15th June 2018 on behalf of my dad, Christian Fenwick who lives in Swadlincote and is from Scunthorpe.
Any donations will be most gratefully recieved to enable these institutes to continue there wonderful work in striving towards the defeat of cancer.
