Holly's Medical Goal

Dear Friends and Family,
We are asking you to help our sister and her family with a financial donation. Holly(35) and her husband(36) are parents of 4 amazing kids. As some of you may (or may not) know, Holly has been living with a number of health conditions. After suffering with numerous symptoms for a long while, in 2014, Holly was diagnosed with Lupus. She had to stop working in 2014 and this year was put on permanent disability and recently lost her health benefits.
In the last couple years, Holly's airway has failed and is no longer able to support her and she is suffering from O2 deprivation. Holly has had three surgeries this year in hopes to repair the airway but, unfortunately, they have not had success. A tracheotomy was also attempted, however, Holly cannot support a Trach due to a large vein right in front of her trachea making her a high risk to bleeding out.
Due to the lack of oxygen, Holly is no longer able to drive or work, and suffers from severe short term memory loss. The hardest part is they have had to send their eldest special needs son to live in out of home care as Holly is no longer able to physically handle him when he is struggling. Her Lupus has no chance to go into remission as she is never able to get the proper sleep needed for recovery. Holly's body is unable to sleep due to the airway concerns. She Apneas (stops breathing) between 80-110 times an hour as her oxygen sats drop dangerously low into the 40%.
The Dr's have given Holly and family a final option for repair but unfortunately it comes with a very high price tag, due to it being done by a Maxillio Facial surgeon(they are firstly dentists and then Surgeons). Alberta Health Care WILL NOT cover any of the dental portion of the procedure meaning this will cost Holly and Stefano out of pocket.
This year has already cost Holly and Stefano significantly in therapies, specialized equipment, numerous out of town appointments, surgeries and hospital stays requiring gas and hotel stays as well as the loss of income and cost associated with their son being out of home. They have already cashed in Holly's pension to pay for everything up until this point and do not have the funds required to acquire this surgery for Holly.
We are asking for any help people can offer no matter how small, and if you cannot help financially we ask you please pray that we will be able to obtain this surgery for Holly. We are hoping to have the funds raised to get her into surgery in January 2018
