Holly’s Journey Through NF1
Donation protected
Holly suffers from Neurofibromatosis and was diagnosed with an Optical Glioma, a tumour on her optical nerve, five years ago. Holly underwent chemotherapy whilst she was in nursery and the tumour reduced significantly in size. Heartbreakingly, in the Spring, the family were informed that the tumour has regrown and was now threatening Holly’s sight. She now has to undergo a minimum of a year of debilitating chemotherapy in a bid to save her sight. This has all had a huge impact on Holly and her family; mum and dad – Vicky and Gary, and her siblings – older sister Hannah and younger sisters; Kaylynn and Tulliya.
Holly has to travel to Ninewells in Dundee every Monday for her chemotherapy and, if necessary, for follow up appointments through the week. The travelling is having an enormous impact on the family’s finances and it is becoming hard to make ends meet. Any donations made would allow the family to stop worrying about meeting the continuing costs of travelling backwards and forwards to Dundee and for specialist appointments at Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. We would like to ask you to give whatever you can, no matter how small, to help this family.
With thanks.
