Over the last six months, I have had the unbelievable priveledge of getting to know Holly and Brian Festa. They are two dedicated Hillsborough County teachers who have faced the devastating losses of their 2 infant daughters within 2 years. In the wake of such devastation, God has blessed them with incredible resilience to overcome the greatest of tragedies.
As Holly and Brian wrote on their adoption website, "The happiness that filled our hearts is still there, and we know that somewhere God has a special child waiting for us. All parents fantasize about their child’s future. We fantasize more than most. We know what a precious gift children are and we have all the tools –– emotional and financial ––to ensure our children will be nurtured, happy and successful. We yearn to be parents. We pray that our story has allowed you to understand how deeply we would treasure a child and how very ready we are for this commitment. "
The journey to rebuilding their family has lead them to adoption and we are so excited to support them! Adoption is an expensive endeavor and all donations go directly to the lawyer coordinating the adoption process for them. Holly and Brian;s lawyer costs almost $30,000 and although they are fundraising considerably on their own, I know we can help them make a huge dent in those costs!
Holly and Brian have dedicated their lives to educating children and loving their baby girls. I cannot think of 2 more deserving parents or a luckier little one than the baby God has waiting for them! Thank you for parntering with us to help Brian and Holly bring home their baby!
