WHAT IT IS:
Holistic Learning Sanctuary Foundation International Inc. (HLS) is a 501c3 nonprofit residential trade school where men and women - veterans recovering from PTSD, those recovering from addiction, and people who've struggled with mental health issues - can get real-life training in trades like culinary services; agriculture; building/construction; computer sciences; and film and photography.
HLS will offer this job training and life support in a safe, open-campus, college-like environment so that people who may not have thrived in traditional academic environments can get an education that will make all the difference.
Students/residents of HLS will walk away with skills that will not only enable them to earn a living but will give them a new sense of hope and purpose.
When people know their purpose and have the skills to express it through work, all of society benefits.
Everybody wins.

Helping people learn real skills so they can get real jobs that support them in having fulfilling lives.
WE BELIEVE...
... anyone who’s been shut out of the workforce because of mental health, PTSD, or addiction, and the damage it does to their self-esteem, deserves access to a place that supports their style of learning.
… when people who’ve never believed in themselves learn a skill they can put to work, it strengthens the community.
YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS will go directly towards acquiring and developing a location for the trade school, and for rolling out the culinary and agriculture schools.
