Road trip & Beach holiday for Luke

Luke Modra love's the beach ...
... but due to circumstances beyond his control, Luke hasn't even seen the beach, let alone touched the water, since 2004* !!
Almost every week since then* he has asked - "Can I go for a drive with Dad ... to the beach."
*Yes it is true - Luke's last trip to the beach was with his Dad in 2004 - more than 11 years ago.
Now ... with thanks to the DREAM TEAM ... we are planning to support Luke with a new dream come true.
We are planning a trip to the beach, and at least one nights accommodation, close to the beach, in the last week of November 2015.
Luke is keen and so are the people who support him directly.
All we need now is some help to pay for the following
1. transport (to get him there and back) and
2. a place to stay.
Might seem simple to some - but -
1. the transport equipment needed is not readily available and modifications to create a suitable vehicle from an existing one could cost as much as $20,000.
2. the place we are hoping to use may need significant modifications to make it suitable for our use, and these modifications may cost as much as $5,000.
It should be noted - that according to DHHS (and others) there is currently - no place for Luke to go or stay - other than his home near Bendigo - not even in an emergency.
Luke is one of very few people in Australia that has to stay in his home, even on a CODE RED day, and even in the event of a bushfire. He cannot leave because he has - no where to go, and no way to get there.
If we are successful in organising this road trip and short holiday at the beach - we will have achieved something that many said was impossible.
Not only will we have given Luke what he needs to access the beach for a short holiday - but - (and this is especially relevant for those dangerous code red days in summer) we will have managed to organise ... a place to go, ... and the means to get there.
This little project - could just save his life.
