Holiday Smile for Our Future Leaders
Tax deductible
My name is Evelyn. Growing up in Ghana/West Africa, Christmas was about wearing brand new clothes and shoes to church. I remember we wear all white to church on the New Year (January 1) to celebrate the new year. It was one of the numerous occasions I have fond memories of when I was a kid. Another fun experience is the availability of food.
Looking around me, I see that many families are unable to provide their kids with one new/clean clothes and shoes to celebrate the day. In the US, kids get presents which help them be a part of holiday celebrations. Waking up in the morning with your presents under the Christmas tree is the highlight of the Christmas/holiday celebrations.
I hope this fund will help give Christmas/holiday cheers to kids in some select communities.
