Hello! I'm Mel and these are six (6) amazing puppies that were birthed on 11/10/2025 by a mama dog, named Bird, who escaped a harmful environment.

The puppies are now 7-weeks old and tested positive for Parvo three days ago. I am a private citizen, volunteer, and donor of a local MI non-profit. Staff from the local non-profit in MI called me late one evening in early November to ask if I could help them rescue and perhaps house Bird and her unborn puppies until the puppies were old enough to be adopted. I agreed.

The nonprofit has no funds to help with the vet bills. I have paid out-of-pocket for 3 outpatient treatments for the pups. But, I need help for the remaining 3. The illness is in the early stages, but time is of the essence and we need a miracle. Parvo is deadly. Herein is the estimate for the outpatient treatment directly from the vet per puppy. The high end is $194 each puppy but thus far it has been approximately $130 per puppy.

The cancer drugs I am on causes fatigue and pain which makes it difficult to find other employment. I was recently laid off for the second time in 2025 - no fault of my own, and I . . . we need your financial help to pay for the remaining 3 treatments. Won't you please help us? These pups and Bird have survived so much and it's already a miracle that they are all alive.
