Holiday Hunger relief in Great Yarmouth

Norfolk Unite Community, a trade union branch with a long history of combating Holiday Hunger, will be offering support and solidarity to struggling families in Great Yarmouth over this Christmas period. Working alongside schools, Unite Community shall be delivering much needed support for the families that have been left behind by this cruel Tory Government, bringing together communities, activists and the Trade Union movement to offer real support for those that need it this Christmas.

However, times have been extra tough this year for everyone, and many of the groups which would normally help fund our yearly Holiday Hunger work are unable to this year, having to spend their funds on much-needed support for their own members and local communities instead.

It is for this reason that we are now calling for donations, with every penny guaranteed to go towards helping to feed struggling families across Great Yarmouth this Christmas. This is working class solidarity in action, not just charity, and only by bringing together communities and the Trade Union movement, can we ensure no one is left behind during this current crisis.
