Holiday Food Drive, Allen Chapel

A small group of families from the Roseville/Rocklin/Lincoln area is assisting Allen Chapel in gathering food and financial donations to support a Thanksgiving food drive for the community.

Allen Chapel is a non-profit church that serves the Del Paso Heights neighborhood near Sacramento, CA. Many in this community struggle financially, and the services this church provides are critical. Allen Chapel offers a youth center to provide a safe and value-rich environment for the area's at-risk teens. They also host holiday celebrations, clothing, and food drives.

This holiday season, Allen Chapel would like to put together Thanksgiving meal bags to distribute to families in the community. This is the fourth year of the food drive, and all of the previous years were tremendously successful! Sadly though, with such great needs in this community, many families get turned away.

All donations need to be collected by November 3 so that the food items can be ordered and packed for distribution on November 18.
