Hello Good Boys and Girls,
Rejoice! It’s going to be time to delight in our mischievous holiday elves once again!
We are thrilled to announce the re-launching of the Holiday Burlesque and Comedy Show! After last year’s sad blow of not performing due to space availability, we’re back in 2018 with an even bigger and better extravaganza.
As most of you already know, Chico experienced the re-opening of the majestic El Rey Theatre. Saved from demolition and turning the property into office space, we could not be more grateful and excited to support this iconic venue as a theatre! Furthermore, the new owners have invested thousands of dollars inside the building to create a beautiful performing space, while maintaining all of the historical elements...AND...state-of-the-art lighting, sound and a new LED screen. And yes, our show plans to use all of the artistic elements that is available to us. We could not be more proud and excited to perform at the new El Rey!
While we are certainly over-the-top grateful to have reached an agreement to perform, the costs to produce the show will understandably be far greater than the previous warehouse venue.
Our goal is to raise $8,500 to help with production costs, which include the following:
• Rent = $5,000
• El Rey Security (required by venue) = $450
• Light/Sound Operators = $450
• Insurance (liability) = $600
• Costumes = $1,000*
• Theater Props & Set Pieces = $500*
• Scat Happens (let’s face it, unforeseeable costs always arise in this business) = $500*

We’ve committed ourselves to producing the show this year, which is always a financial risk. This year, it’s a bit more ambitious than in years past. By achieving this year’s GoFundMe goal along with ticket sales, we hope to create financial stability for years to come.
The show is scheduled for one weekend, but 3 opportunities to see the show. These are:
• Friday, December 14th at 7:30pm
• Saturday, December 15 at 7:30pm
• Late Night Saturday, December 15 at 10:30pm
* Doors always open 45 minutes prior to show times.
