Holden Viers Memorial Scholarship

Holden Viers, age 22, passed peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 20, 1995, Holden was first and foremost an artist, who dedicated his life to creating beauty from tragedy through his art and thrived throughout his time at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Gifted with the ability to create thru synesthesia, Holden made the ordinary extraordinary in every aspect of his life.
We felt the best way to honor Holden was to let other students experience the same joy he had when he fell in love with print making. We are working with SCAD to establish a scholarship in Holden's honor, and hope you will help us keep his memory alive in this way.

Hi everyone,
We have been amazed by the outpouring of support that we have received over the last few days, and we cannot begin to thank you all enough.
A quick update: we are working to finalize the details for Holden's scholarship at SCAD, but for now we plan to make the funds eligible to transfer students, with a preference for those who have a demonstrated interest in print making. Holden transfered to SCAD after two years at Auburn, so we felt this was the best way to honor his legacy. Once we have reached our goal, we will transfer the funds to SCAD to establish the endowment scholarship.
Holden was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend, and we were blessed to have him in our lives. Thank you all for helping us remember and honor him in this way.
