Hurricane Maria, the worst hurricane to hit Puerto Rico in the last 80-years, has wreaked absolute havoc on the country, leaving millions without access to water, food, shelter, or power. 96% of the people are without any connection to the Internet, phone line, or power lines for making critical connections with emergency personnel and their friends and family. The majority of roads, homes, vegetation, and buildings have been severely damaged or totally destroyed in the wake of the monstrous tropical hurricane. Puerto Ricans need our help.

We’ve launched a campaign titled: #HoldOnPuertoRico. We have the privilege to live on dry ground right now, which is why we’re encouraging everyone to come together and help us aid those in dire need. Puerto Rican recovery efforts are going to be required for months, if not years, spurring us into action today to do something about it.

Who We Are 

We are a group of small business owners taking to the sky with the Upwind Flying Club, plus the Device Savers Support Team and other members of the community, to bring planes carrying 100,000s of pounds worth of supplies to those afflicted. 

To spread awareness, we are raising funds through a crowdfunding campaign, Medium.com, and Facebook. We are asking everyone to spread our message and share the struggle that is unfolding in Puerto Rico.

The GoFundMe Campaign

All funds are being raised to help us cover the transportation costs to send Cargo Planes from Tampa Bay, Florida to Puerto Rico. To load up the equipment, resources, and donations, we will need forklifts, plats, boxes, tape, and volunteer materials. These aren’t cheap services, and we are therefore seeking a communal effort via GoFundMe to help us reach our target donation goal.

It’s difficult to get to an island so far from the mainland, which is why we’re relying on our flight skills and talents to bring the help to Puerto Rico through the skies.

Relief efforts have already been underway since Hurricane Irma left 3 dead on Puerto Rico. No one imagined another hurricane, one more devastating and catastrophic, would be right behind Irma after she sucked the ocean swells off of Caribbean beaches.

As Floridians, we were prepared for Irma’s unfathomable surges and gust storms, inspiring to step in and help other hurricane victims this time around.

What we need moving forward is GoFundMe donations, volunteer help, and those wishing to spread our message through marketing and social media efforts.
