James walks the Nene for Holcot Church -21 October

Holcot Church struggles to find money for its upkeep. It costs £1200 a month to keep the church up and running, and with so few people attending services this creates a huge burden on those who do attend.

So, commencing 21 October I am walking the whole length of the River Nene  to raise money for the Parish of St Mary & All Saints. The Nene is just over 100 miles and begins its life on a hill outside Badby, Northamptonshire. It then winds itself though Peterborough, Wisbech and eventually into the wash.
