<div> My mother is currently fighting an especially aggressive form of brain tumor – known as primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL). This diagnosis has turned our world upside down. Despite undergoing several rounds of chemotherapy, CAR T-cell therapy, and multiple immunotherapies, the tumor has unfortunately not responded as we had hoped.

Doctors here have told us that the current high-dose chemotherapy is essentially the last remaining option. If this treatment doesn’t work, they say there are no further therapies available.

But I refuse to believe this has to be the end. I’ve learned from doctors in the U.S., Israel, and other countries that there are alternative treatments available abroad – options that, sadly, are either not offered or not approved here in our country. These treatments are usually not covered by health insurance when sought outside one’s home country.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you with this fundraising appeal:
I’m raising money to give my mother the chance to pursue treatment abroad – a chance at life, a chance at hope. The costs for diagnostics, treatment, travel, and accommodation can quickly reach tens of thousands – and we cannot manage this alone.

<div>Doch ich weigere mich zu glauben, dass das das Ende sein muss. Ich habe von verschiedenen Ärzten aus den USA, Israel und anderen Ländern erfahren, dass es dort alternative Behandlungsmöglichkeiten gibt, die hierzulande leider nicht angeboten oder nicht zugelassen sind. Diese Optionen werden jedoch in der Regel nicht von den Krankenkassen übernommen, wenn sie außerhalb des eigenen Landes in Anspruch genommen werden.

Annem şu anda son derece agresif bir beyin tümörü türü olan primer santral sinir sistemi lenfoması (PCNSL) ile mücadele ediyor. Bu teşhis hayatımızı altüst etti. Birkaç kemoterapi döngüsü, CAR-T hücre tedavisi ve çeşitli immünoterapilerden sonra ne yazık ki tümörün beklenildiği gibi tedaviye yanıt vermediği ortaya çıktı.

Buradaki doktorlar mevcut yüksek doz kemoterapinin son şans olduğunu söylediler. Eğer bu tedavi işe yaramazsa, onların söylediklerine göre artık başka bir seçenek kalmayacak.

Ama ben bunun son olması gerektiğine inanmıyorum. ABD, İsrail ve başka ülkelerdeki farklı doktorlardan, oralarda ne yazık ki bizim ülkemizde sunulmayan veya onaylanmayan alternatif tedavi yöntemleri olduğunu öğrendim. Ancak bu tedavi seçenekleri genellikle yurt dışında uygulandığında sağlık sigortaları tarafından karşılanmıyor.

Bu yüzden sizlere bu bağış çağrısıyla sesleniyorum:
Annemin yurt dışında tedavi görmesini sağlamak için para topluyorum – bu onun yaşama şansı, bir umut şansı. Tanı, tedavi, seyahat ve konaklama masrafları on binlerce euroya ulaşabiliyor – ve bunu tek başımıza karşılamamız mümkün değil.

Mi madre está luchando actualmente contra una forma especialmente agresiva de tumor cerebral, conocido como linfoma primario del sistema nervioso central (LPSNC). Este diagnóstico ha puesto nuestro mundo de cabeza. A pesar de haber recibido varias rondas de quimioterapia, terapia con células CAR-T y múltiples inmunoterapias, lamentablemente el tumor no ha respondido como esperábamos.

Los médicos aquí nos han dicho que la actual quimioterapia de alta dosis es, esencialmente, la última opción disponible. Si este tratamiento no funciona, dicen que no hay más terapias posibles.

Pero me niego a creer que este tenga que ser el final. He sabido de médicos en EE. UU., Israel y otros países que ofrecen tratamientos alternativos en el extranjero, opciones que, lamentablemente, no se ofrecen o no están aprobadas en nuestro país. Estos tratamientos, por lo general, no son cubiertos por el seguro de salud si se realizan fuera del país de origen.

Por eso recurro a ustedes con este llamado solidario:
Estoy recaudando fondos para darle a mi madre la oportunidad de recibir tratamiento en el extranjero – una oportunidad para vivir, una oportunidad para tener esperanza. Los costos de diagnóstico, tratamiento, viaje y alojamiento pueden alcanzar fácilmente decenas de miles – y no podemos hacerlo solos.
