UPDATE:
Wthe generosity of donations we have been able to:
1. Create new map system with more understanding colors
2. We were able to put 12 Mounting Blocks throughout trail system
3. We were able to fund the building of Tie Lines at Artesian Well.
4. We were able to fund new tie lines put in at Table Rock site.
5. We were able to fund gravel to put down to secure the tie lines at the State Camp
6. We will have new Manager for Hocking Hills Traills by mid summer. Hoping this will drastically improve the cooperation and thus speed of new and important trail projects.
Hocking Hills Horse Trails is raising money for Trail Signs - to be put in along the State Forest trails.Every intersection will have a sign, plus points of interest arrows. Any additional money raised will be used for general Trail Maintenance, such as Gravel, other Materials, New Horse Ties, Mounting Blocks, etc. This will be accomplished by working with ODNR & Fairfield County OHC and other Local OhC groups. & in answer to requests by so many riders wanting to see many improvements happen for Hocking Hills Horse Trails, finding those places of interest they may otherwise miss, & 1st timers not getting lost. So come on & DONATE ! We can make Hocking one of the BEST places to ride your horse in the Country ! It's already one of the prettiest !& THANK YOU for your help !!
