My heart is broken. I don't want to write this. I don't want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you. You lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can't fathom it would end so suddenly.
Hoang went missing 4 weeks ago and we learned today that his body has been found drifting in the water near the Golden Gate Bridge by a fisherman.
It has been confirmed that his death is caused by suicide.
Everyone who has had the opportunity to meet him, knows he was full of life. He was smart, talented, funny. He loved fixing things and had a passion for cooking. He was always willing to help a friend and could always count on with anything. His loyalty was unbreakable.
No one saw this coming. It has been an exhausting and emotional journey with family and friends coming together in search to find him. We have many coming to us and asking how they could help, and to be able to give him a proper memorial service, this is the best way. Anything helps and would be greatly appreciated.
Hoang leaves behind his mother, brother, sister, 2 daughters and many who loved him dearly.
Depression is a real thing. We wish we had the opportunity to tell him how much we love and care about him. How much support he has and that he wasn't alone.
