Cathy's Wheelchair Van Fund

In 2000, our mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  As the disease has progressed, it has been more of a struggle to get her in and out of vehicles. As most of you know, being active in church has always been very important to our parents.  Over the past year, our dad has been unable to transport her to church because it is too hard to lift her in and out of their vehicle.  Our dad has been looking at wheelchair accessible vans and we are hoping to raise money and surprise them with a down payment.  Since our mom has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, she has been unable to work.  Aside from the physical struggles for our mom, M.S. also carries a large financial burden.  Having M.S. also means that there are frequent visits to the doctor.  As of now, they are paying for a service to take her to and from her appointments.  Having a wheelchair accessible van would allow us to transport her to her doctor visits.  It would also give us the opportunity to take her to church, family gatherings, and other everyday errands.  Our parents have done so much for us and we are hoping to be able to surprise them with this wonderful gift.  We truly appreciate any help that you are able to give, even if it is reposting this page for others to see.
