I live next door to my best friend, Amanda.

On April 21, 2025, Amanda had brain surgery to remove tumors in her head.

During the surgery, the surgeon accidentally knocked the optical nerve in her right eye.

Right now, she basically has no sight to very little sight in that eye, and it most likely won't ever heal.

The surgeon was not able to remove all of the tumors during surgery, so she will be having radiation treatments for 5 days a week for 28 days. The doctor told her that she won't be able to do much because she will be sick and too tired.

She works from home, and since her surgery, she has not been able to work a full 8-hour day.

Looking at her computer with sight in one eye is not easy for her, so it's made it hard for her to work.

Her fiancé does work. They have 3 kids at home, one who is working, the other 2 are school age and not old enough to work.

I'm just wanting to find a way to help them out with the medical bills, and their monthly bills until she is back on her feet, and back to being "Super Mom" and "Super Amanda".

Amanda and her fiancé Rick are not people who like to ask for help, but I think with their current situation, asking for a bit of help is OK.
