Help save a puppies life

My name is Vicki. I am starting this fundraiser for my best friend Jenna and her family. We are dog lovers through and through and the past two weeks have been heartbreaking for us all. Two weeks ago I lost my dog Pete to an unknown brain tumour, less than a week later two out of Jenna’s three dogs were hit by a car in what was a terrible accident. Tragically she lost her eldest dog Alfie, he was killed instantly. Her youngest, Bonnie, is alive but requiring spinal surgery. She had only had her 3 weeks so insurance wouldn’t cover a claim. They have had to spend £2000 already, they owe £500 and have been quoted an estimated further £4-5000 for an operation to stabilise her spine. It’s a simple operation and means she will be able to live a normal happy life. She is only 6 months old, a puppy, she’s in a lot of pain and needs this doing as soon as possible.

As friends we’ve lost 2 out of 4 of our wonderful pack of dogs and we don’t want to make it 3. If she doesn’t have the operation she will have to be put down.

We have looked at assistance from charities but they don’t qualify due to not being on benefits.

Im sorry for laying it on thick but we don’t know what else to do. She’s too proud to ask herself, had this been a year ago the financial situation may have been different but she’s lost her business to the pandemic as many have and simply doesn’t have the cash.

Any help, however small will be appreciated more than you could ever know.

Goal is £6000 to cover cost of operation, pay for the amount outstanding and possible ongoing rehabilitation/medication post op. 

If more than what is required is donated then this will be donated to an animal charity and proof of this donation will be provided on this page.
