Gone way too soon

My brother Kesean Anderson was born on February 14th, 1991 to two loving parents, Cynthia Hicks and Larry Charles Jr.  Me, my brother and mother all battle sickle cell anemia.  Sean had a long 26 year fight with the desease. When he was 6 years old Sean was in a coma for three months and to God be the glory he came out of it. He learned to walk and talk again. No matter what pain he was going through he always kept a smile on his face and made sure people around him were happy. We were raised in a loving two parent home until our mother pasted away the day after Christmas in 2008 due to sickle cell anemia complications. I’m so thankful God allowed her to raise us until we were 16 & 17. After the funeral my brother and I vowed to stay together, we knew we were all we had. We then moved to Texas to be closer to family. He never like his disease stop him. After workin at  O’Reilly’s as a driver, Keasean found a job at Walmart cashiering. He was the most kind and gentle soul, full of jokes and laughter. Everyone from work he came accross he left a big impression on.

On Friday November 3rd  I went to wake Sean up for work like I always do. He was mumbling and dozed back to sleep. I tried shaking him, he mumbled some more. Now I was starting to get worried, it was hard for me to tell if he was tired or having a crisis. I asked him if he needed an ambulance, he knodded his head. I stayed on the phone with 911 and performed CPR on my brother until the ambulance got there. The paramedics were able to find a pulse and stabilize him. On the way to the hospital, Keseans status worsened and they had to preform CPR on him again. When we got the the hospital they put him on a breathing machine. He wasn’t breathing for himself but his heart was still beating strong.........until 11:19pm. After doing CPR for 30 minuets the hospital staff said they did all they could to keep him alive. Unfortunately for us God called him home to heaven. Cause of death is still unknown as of March 19th 2018.

Although he was the oldest he was like my baby. I did everything I could to make sure he was ok. My heart is so broken that he’s gone and I couldn’t save him. We just moved into a two bedroom apartment on October 31st after sharing a very cramped one bedroom apartment for a while. He was so happy to finally have his own room. Sean paid half the bills. He was so sweet to give me the bigger room without any hesitation. Because we were born with this terminal illness our parent or grandparents weren’t able to ever get Sean life insurance. I now have a hole in my heart and have to find a way to lay him to rest. He is with our mommy now and I know they will send me the strength and resources to get though this. Please I’m begging for help to bury my brother, be able to afford to keep this simple modest apt for the year lease we just signed and to pay off my brothers medical debts. Please  give anything you can, even if it’s just a dollar.

This money will go towards the funeral and other expenses.

I thank everyone for taking the time to read this. I thank you for your donation. My family and I thank you very much. God bless!
