DeVoe Family House Fire

I woke up this morning to a post on Facebook that  read, "Today we lost everything we owned in a fire."  At first, I thought it was joke, but as I read on I realized this was real.  I immediately called my cousin and her spirits are up.  This family of 7 has now been displaced. They are currently staying in a hotel until they can find suitable housing arrangments.  She certainly appreciates the hospitality that everyone has offered.  This is a time for action and this family certaintly needs our support.

Robin is not just my family, she's my closest cousin and friend.  I can share any and everything with her and not feel judged.   She would give you the shirt off her back and/or answer your phone call at 2am when you need a ride, because you allowed the enemy to get in your head and now you are thinking and doing all types of foolishness.   Thank you for keeping me grounded cousin!

She would never create a GoFundMe account.  As a matter of fact, when she found out that her family wanted to do this on her behalf, her heart dropped.   In times like this, we are grateful to have family and friends who look out for our best interest.  

If you know Robin, you know that her family has been through many trials and tribulations over the past 12 months.    

Our goal is to help Robin & her family find a place to move-into before Thanksgiving.   Any amount you can donate is appreciated.  All funds will be directly deposited into her account.
