My name is Luka, I'm 22 years young, and I got some exciting news!
You see, I have been admiring FAMU, The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, from afar for so long now. It is one, if not THE school of my dreams.
So last year I decided to jump in at the deep end. I applied and...
... I got in!!
I got accepted to FAMU, to their one-year intensive program for screenwriting. I still cannot believe it, even if I say it out loud!
This program will give me a chance to explore my creative voice, experiment to my heart's content with this amazing art form, and fully immerse myself in my creativity, more than I ever have before.
To have this opportunity is an absolute dream of mine, and I can only imagine where one year of solely focusing on film and writing could take me.
The important dates are
August 1st - 4.8k - tuition for winter semester
September 1st - around 5k to rent a flat and start settling down!
January 15th - 4.8k tuition for spring semester
The funds will help me cover tuition, moving costs, rent for the academic year and, if something is left over, other expenses.
Also, I want to take a minute and thank you especially for taking the time to come to my page and read this. I absolutely appreciate every single assistance and support, in all its forms.
