Hope for Rita

To start, to all who are reading this, thank you for taking the time to read the story of my sister. I am starting this account in hopes to raise money to help support my sister who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  We come from a large family of 9 kids and my sister Rita and I have only gotten closer as the years go on. She is more than my little sister, she is a dear friend.  When she first told us of her diagnosis, I was not so sure what to say. What can you say? All I knew is that I had to be there for my sister for whatever she needed. I have just started my own business, in which Rita is employed. She and I are cosmotologists and once she begins her chemo, it will be a guessing game as to weather or not she will be able to be working during those 6 rounds.  Not having her in the salon would be tough, but I know she will beat this.  This cancer has caused a huge cloud on my bright, and cheerful little sister and to see her like this hurts so deep.  She has just bought her first house with her husband and if she is not able to qualify for assistance with her treatments, she will have an even bigger stress of finding ways to pay for her treatment. So, as her big sister, I am going to do all I can for her to help make this as easy as possible.  My family and I are asking people to make donations to help pay for her therapy and her medications. Our goal is $10,000.00, and with everyones generousity,  we can make this goal happen. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my sister.
