Support My Aunt Through Medical Crisis

On Friday, June 13, 2025, my aunt (in the green jacket above) woke up with a headache and feeling dizzy. Hoping it would it pass, she took a nap. When she woke up again, her headache was still persistent but not debilitating and she continued with her day. My aunt took my cousin to work when she started to feel tightness in her left eye and noticed she was unable to blink properly.
At around 5 pm, she was eating food when she felt the left side of her face became paralyzed and her blood pressure dropped. Afraid that it could be signs of a stroke. She was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, due to insurance issues, she was in and out of the emergency rooms for a couple of days.
Finally, a CT scan was taken and she was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy.
Unfortunately, this diagnosis comes at a very difficult moment in their lives. They recently moved into a new apartment and using most of their savings to get their bills in order in the new place. The two eldest of my cousins, are the sole providers for the household. My aunt is the caregiver not only for my grandmother but for my two baby nephews.
Along with their new expenses, they now have to worry about my aunt’s medical bills that would include therapy, medication, and follow appointments with physicians.
For this reason, I have started this gofund me at the minimum to help them get through the next two months.
I know we are all going through a tough time right now but truly anything helps and is GREATLY appreciated.
