Helping a family in need
Donation protected
In mid June of this year my sister, Trina Lentz, was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. On July 17 she had her breast removed, lymph nodes checked and they came back clear. Within a week, she became lethargic, her stomach was swelling and she was rushed into urgent care. She went for tests and the cancer had metastasized to stage 4 liver cancer.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time cancer has struck our family. Our Mother was diagnosed with cancer and has since passed away. It was a huge shock when we found out Trina’s diagnosis.
Trina,41, is married to the love of her life, Richard. Together they have two amazing sons Justice and Kaden. Trina has always had such a zest for life. She’s kind, compassionate, outgoing and it reflects in her family. Her and her family have always helped those in need. They have given so much to others and now find themselves in time of need.
Their family has had a rough go this last year. Her husband Richard, had a stroke last October and has been awaiting surgery to fix small holes in his heart. Due to Trina’s chemo treatments and Richard’s surgery, our goal is to help with the costs of travel, medications, bills and the loss of earnings that are to come in the months ahead.
On behalf of Trina’s family and friends, thank you for taking the time to read her story. We understand that not everyone can donate but a share is just as good as a donation. Please help us get the word out there!
