On July 27th, 2025, we tragically lost our beloved Steven Velez on what was meant to be a day of celebration—he and his wife were renewing their vows in Las Vegas when he suffered multiple heart attacks that left him in a coma in the ICU, where he heartbreakingly passed five days later.

Steven was so much to so many—a devoted father, a loving son, a caring brother, and a true friend. He was the kind of person whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to everyone around him. Those who knew him witnessed a man full of life, always willing to help, always willing to love.

He lived under one roof with his wife, mother, and stepfather, who depended on him not only for care and emotional support but for the stability he worked tirelessly to provide. With his passing, they now face tremendous uncertainty and the likelihood of relocation as they try to rebuild without him.

Although his daughters live in Arizona with their mother, Steven remained deeply involved in their lives—cherishing every summer and holiday they spent together as a family.

In addition, Steven’s wife and his daughters, Kiana (15) and Aliyah (12), are navigating the emotional, practical, and financial challenges brought on by this devastating loss—each in their own way.
