"Fostering Dreams" Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Chippewa County Family Project Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Construction was recently completed on the Robert R. Arfstrom-Sharyn L. Faunt Teen Foster Home on 3-Mile Road, but fund-raising is an on-going necessity for the Chippewa County Family Project Board of Directors. The CCFP is in the midst of a $20,000 matching funds campaign initiated by board member Linda Bouvet.
Linda and her husband, Ray, will match all donations up to $20,000. Central United Methodist Church recently pledged $10,000 toward the match. Color Street Nails and Take Three fund-raisers have generated $425.
To reach the $20,000 goal, the CCFP is seeking more than $9,000 from the community, which can help ensure that the foster home opens in February.
Every $1 will be matched and directly support area teens in the foster care system.
About the Arfstrom-Faunt Teen Foster Home: The 5,000-square foot duplex can house up to six males in one wing and six females in the other, plus house parents. The CCFP was formed in 2016.
