Spreading Christ Love with Horses

Peaceful Heart Equine Ministries was founded in 2005. Knowing God wanted us to do more with our horses than to just teach individuals to ride or put on horse shows we began to develop a facility where we would use our horses to also help teach these riders about the love Christ has for each of us. Encouraging them to become all they can be. To face difficult and scary situations and come out on top. This is what the horses and volunteers help each of these riders learn to do.

PHEM horse and volunteers have been involved in many different functions such as Summer Fest where they gave rides to rasie money for Coats for Kids,  Community Fall Carnivals, Kids Kountry Kookout for Children from the OU Medical center facing devestating illnesses, Special Olympics and Therapy.

Being involved in the Equine Special Olympics since 2005 is one of the greatest programs we offer. These Special Needs Athletes just want to be accepted and have a time that they can show off their horsemanship skills. They need to have the ability to ride weekly but with not having a covered arena we are at the mercy of mother nature constantly. The amazing stories we get from parents about how much these horses and their riding times help these riders with their every day life is impressive. 

We would like to expand by also offering a time for those suffering from PTSD to spend time with the horses.  Having a covered arena would allow us to have this opportunity.

Please be a part of making a difference in these riders lives. With your help these riders will have the opportunity to ride  on a regular basis in a weather suitable arena and not have to reschedule or cancel constantly due to weather.
