White Album Show Travel Fund

Donation protected

On Feb 28th, 2015, The Alex Theatre in Glendale, Ca, The Beatles White Album by the Wild Honey Orchestra and Special Guests to Benefit the Autism Think Tank

To maximize our contribution to the cause and bring you the most exciting show possible, we need your help in raising funds for artist travel and rehearsal expenses.
We are looking to raise funds for 5 or 6 artists to fly in for the event, including the young stars (Skylar, Brett, and Django) from our recent Big Star Third show at the Wilshire Ebell and the  other wonderful folks on our wish-list.     Bare-bones airfare, hotels, and cab fare etc, generally runs around $600 per artist.    We are looking for at least $3000 to cover this expense.

For the previous Beatles' shows, we have spent approximately $2000 for studio rental for the all-important final two dress rehearsals in the two days just prior to the show.

$5000 raised will mean $5000 more that we can donate from ticket sales while providing the very best show that we can produce.

A pre-sale code will get you first crack at the eight center rows of $100 VIP seats that will include parking, meet-and-greet, show poster, and sound-check access.   Additionally, it will give you access to the always-fast-selling front three center rows that are priced at $45, in front of the VIP section.

The event will benefit the Autism Think Tank, a non-profit organization that brings together a team of top autism specialists, via an internet medical conference, to tackle the seemingly intractable and painful medical/psychological issues faced by kids like Paul Rock's ten-year-old son Jake, a non-verbal autistic boy(born on George Harrison's birthday and a big Beatles fan) with extreme digestive distress and self-injury issues. Thanks to the our association with the Think Tank, we have drastically reduced Jake's self-injury-induced digestive distress and made him a much happier little boy.  Building on this success, the proceeds of this show will enable the Think Think relieve the suffering of even more kids like Jake.  Our 2014, Revolver/Abbey Road & recent Big Star 3rd shows at the Wilshire Ebell raised over $43,000 for the Autism Think Tank and $11,500 for the Children's Music Fund http://autismthinktanknj.com/about-the-center.html

Thanks so much.
