KEYS Smile Experience Hauler Fund

On Nov 8th, an elderly driver accidentally ran into our enclosed trailer at the KEYS office. Thankfully the driver was not hurt, however, the trailer that we use to haul all of the cars, equipment and supplies to our Smile Experience events for kids battling cancer was severely damaged and is now unusable.
The hauler was donated to us years ago and although the hauler was older, it was kept in great condition and worked great for our needs. We are hoping the insurance company will help with some of the replacement costs of the trailer, however because of the age of the trailer we still anticipate needing up to $10,000 to replace the trailer. Without our hauler, we simply can't do our Smile Experience program next season. We need your help.
The hauler that SMILES built... each and every person (or business) who makes a donation to this Go Fund Me Campaign will have their name displayed on the hauler in some way for our KEYS families to see and know that YOU helped make this special program possible for them! Depending on your level you can have your name on the Smile Experience banner or have your logo displayed on the hauler for all of the world to see as we travel to each of our Smile Experience sites in Central New York and across the country!
Best of all, because we are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, your donation is tax deductible too making it a great way to make an end-of-year donation for a great cause!
About the KEYS Program ... The KEYS Program is a 501c3 children's charity that provides assistance and respite programs for families who have a child or family member who is battling cancer. Founded in 1993 by retired NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Official David Bennett and his wife Colleen, the KEYS Program provides bedside music, care packages and respite programs for kids in children's hospitals, camps and hospice care...all at no cost to the families KEYS serves.
Our family respite program, called our Smile Experience, is an extension of our music outreach combining music and motorsports to provide a special respite day at the track for children battling cancer, their siblings and parents. Each child (ages 5-16) gets the chance to suit up in a firesuit and drive one of our quarter midget race cars on the track. We have a special corporate-style hospitality area with family-fun activities, refreshments and great live music. We believe that cancer does not define a child, so all mention or thoughts of illness stay outside the track gate...while they are with us they are just wonderful, giggling, silly kids having a fun smile experience with their family.
At KEYS "it's all about the smiles"! The impact and BIG smiles this program has brought to kids battling cancer and their families has been tremendous. Here is a quote from one of the mom's of a child who participated this summer... "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Grant had an amazing time today in the race car! It is a memory he will never forget!"
