I'm reaching out after a really tough and unexpected experience. I was recently involved in a hit-and-run accident while riding my track bike. A driver hit me, and while she initially stopped to check on me, she told me she was going to get her phone from her car—and then just drove away, leaving me there injured and unable to walk.

I ended up with a sprained foot and a completely wrecked bike. The frame is bent, and the drive-side crank arms are toast. I couldn’t even get up on my own, and being left like that by someone who caused the crash was incredibly hard—physically and emotionally.

This bike wasn’t just my ride—it was something I worked hard to build and rely on every day. Right now, with the injury and no bike, I’m struggling. The costs to repair or replace everything are more than I can manage alone, so I’m humbly asking for any support you might be able to give.
