Hit, Run, Score!

From the tender age of 2 our boy started showing interest in baseball. We quickly picked this up when he started memorizing the players’ names by their numbers, he would gaze onto the TV screen and mention them out loud. His favorite player at the time was #13 Alex Rodriguez, then shortly after he became a fan of #7 Jose Reyes. He would swing his wiffleball bat mimicking the players as they batted and run all over the house stealing bases…LOL. At the age of 5 he had his first taste of little league baseball. From a recreational activity playing T-ball, little league then advancing to travel ball.. As the years pass on we continue to see the determination and passion in our boy’s eyes. What started as a recreational activity has now grown into a dream.
Last week Jayden reached a step closer as he was selected to play for team: Steel “select” tournament team coached by former MLB catcher Keith Osik out of Baseball Heaven. Family and friends, we will appreciate any contributions that you can make to help offset the substantial cost of the Steel Sports Academy. No amount is to small. God Bless you all.
