Hi, my name is Noah, an 18 year old high-school student, I’m reaching out for help after being involved in a unfortunate hit and run accident with 2 friends. While driving on the freeway, a car to our left without warning tried forcing himself into our lane in front of us. In order to avoid hitting the vehicle head on we tried swerving right out of his way into the right lane. Unfortunately, to our right, was a large semi-truck and we had nowhere else to go, we hit the truck hard but luckily we avoided the car in front of us as that could of resulted in nearby cars being involved as well. We were driving a 2012 Toyota Sienna so we were not badly hurt as it thankfully absorbed a lot of the impact. My vehicle however has major damage, especially on the side and rear. The front passenger/ sliding door is badly dented and part of the door was ripped open causing a whole in the car, as well as rubber burns from the semi’s wheel. The front passenger window can’t go all the way up or down anymore. My family is financially struggling right now and we do not have enough to pay for the damage. With only partial coverage insurance, it is going to be an expensive fix for me and my family. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this means a lot to me.
