Two days ago, San Bernardino City Shelter's Rescue Coordinator issued an SOS to a group of rescues regarding two dogs in need to EMERGENCY rescue. One small dog had been shot and another small had been hit by a car.
We knew that both dogs needed help, but another rescue stepped up for the chi that had been shot.
And here is where YOU all meet Brando!
Brando is a very loving, sweet, 24 lbs terripoo. He was in severe pain and had blood coming out of his private parts. With an amazing team and beyond amazing foster, we submitted the pull request.
Brando's foster took him immediately to the emergency vet, where is was determined that he had a broken femur and tibia and surgery would be required.
Brando's foster had offered to cover his medical needs but between his emergency vet, immediate hospitalization and surgery this vet bill will be pushing $6,300.
All funds will be covering the cost of Brando's surgery. ScratchMyBelly.org is a non profit organization savings animals from high kill sheters and other unfortunate situations.
