<div>wir, das Herrenteam des HC Göttingen, haben Vereinsgeschichte geschrieben: Zum ersten Mal konnten wir uns für die Regionalliga – die dritthöchste Spielklasse im deutschen Feldhockey – qualifizieren!

<div>Was für uns ein sportlicher Traum ist, stellt uns als kleinen Verein vor große Herausforderungen. Denn während auf dem Feld die Motivation kaum größer sein könnte, sind die finanziellen Hürden für uns enorm: Schiedsrichtergebühren, lange Auswärtsfahrten und steigende organisatorische Kosten können wir allein aus Mitgliedsbeiträgen kaum stemmen.

<div>Besonders macht uns nicht nur unser sportlicher Erfolg – sondern auch unsere Geschichte:

<div> Wir bestehen hauptsächlich aus Studierenden, die Studium, Training und Spiele unter einen Hut bringen.

<div> Unser Präsident – mit über 60 Jahren – steht immer noch aktiv mit uns auf dem Platz und lebt den Hockeysport wie kein Zweiter.
</div>
<div> Und wir sind die einzige Mannschaft in der Liga, die auf Naturrasen spielt – ein echtes Alleinstellungsmerkmal in einer immer künstlicher werdenden Hockeywelt.
